Autonomous Vehicle Driver Tester
Description
This role is for an experienced and safety-focused **Driver Tester** joining an autonomous vehicle operations team. The position involves safely operating autonomous vehicles, monitoring system performance, collecting and documenting performance data, and providing feedback to engineering and operations teams. Responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-drive safety checks, remaining alert and distraction-free while driving, following traffic laws and company procedures, and completing detailed reports to support vehicle safety and system development. **Requirements:** * Professional driving experience, including rideshare or food delivery * At least 36 months of safe driving experience * Valid US driver's license active for 3+ years * Clean driving record * Ability to type at least 35 WPM * Strong communication and situational-awareness skills * Ability to work in different road and weather conditions Prior autonomous vehicle testing, technical systems, or defensive-driving experience is preferred.
