UMMA Health is a community-rooted Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving South Los Angeles since 1992. Founded by Muslim medical students in response to the 1992 LA Uprisings, it has grown into a nationally recognized model for community-based care, offering comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services. UMMA celebrates every patient, delivering personalized care that respects culture, beliefs, and values—regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
